...at the end of the tunnel is nearly here!!! I am graduating next month, people! WOO!

December 16th(Wednesday), to be exact ;D

So if any of you in the Maryland/D.C./Virginia would like to come, you are more than welcome! My graduation is going to be at the Building Museum in D.C (across the street from Judiciary Square metro stop). It's free to get in. Portfolio show is at 2pm (come visit me and my awesome booth), and the walk is at 5:30. There is plenty of room, so you can see the walk even without a ticket/invitation.

If none of you lovely peoples can make it, that's okay too ;D I'm just throwing the invite out there.

In other news, this quarter at school is almost over. I have two more finals, due next Monday and Tuesday. Wish me luck!

Next quarter(my last one, I graduate in December), is gonna be awesome. Only 2 classes...Final Portfolio, and my last gen-ed(film studies). And I won't be working at my tutoring job! woo! YAY free time! I'll be able to prepare for the portfolio show in December, and I'll also be contributing more of my time to my OTHER job at Forever Interactive (foreverinteractive.com)

Hey everyone Sorry for the lack of new images to my gallery in the past few weeks @____@ I actually have some school projects to submit, but they're not QUITE finished/fixed. So maybe this weekend I will sweep through and finish those up real quick. I need to, anyway, to get a better grade.

I also have another painting I did the other day that I really liked, I am just waiting on permission to post it from a certain photographer, because the painting is inspired by one of their awesome photos

HAHA I thought I would have more free time to myself this quarter, but I really don't. I have some big projects for school in the works. But currently I am suffering from severe senioritis (when you're a senior, sometimes you develop apathy towards school, haha...year-round school for 3 years will do that to you).

I am building my personal gallery website this quarter!! Hopefully that will be complete and up and running by the end of September.

Work at Forever Interactive has been going well lately. I am finishing up the design for a boss character called the Shadow Snake, but that name might change to Shadow Wyrm because I gave him like, 5 pairs of limbs, haha. <___<
My team has been pumping out some great artwork too. FI is in full-throttle production of our first game, Visions of Zosimos. There isn't much going on in the VoZ public forums yet, but feel free to join! [link]

We plan to have Visions of Zosimos ready for release to the general public in the first quarter of 2011. There should be a website up for the game within a few weeks, we're building it right now. Once that's complete, I'll announce it so you guys can check it out

In other news, sorry for the lack of a post-Otakon journal. I'm sort of a procrastinator and school/two jobs keeps me super busy. Erm, I had a great time but Otakon is so exhausting, haha!! I met lots of cool people, and everyone in the hotel room were artists in the alley XD Thanks SO MUCH to everyone who came by to say HI, bought my art, and got commissions XD

In other news, my short 3-week summer break is over. I go back to my apartment tomorrow (saturday evening). I had a really great summer break, kept very busy doing fun things with friends and family. Even though I am sad it's over, I am looking forward to getting back into a routine (and getting back to my tutoring job at school, so I can start making some money again @___@).
