Young Prince Yotam

Papa, who is that boy there?
"He is Prince Yotam, young and fair."
Papa, why such a kind smile upon his face?
"He is blessed with happiness and grace."
Papa, why does he look our way?
"Because it is a fine and beautiful day."
Papa, why has he come here?
"To bring joy to all who hold him dear."

A simple poem, but I thought it suited the pic.

His son is so adorable, I had to draw him. Here is the first deviation, and I might do another.

I made him into a prince, because the way his hair is sorta longish and wavy at the ends reminded me of what a small prince might look like. He is a kindly prince here he will make a good king one day

Sketch was drawn in my sketchbook, then the old paper background, music score, text, and glo was added on the computer. That's why i put it into the digital category, because i thought more was done digitally than traditionally.
