Artist's Comments

Done as my second entry into an art show.
Used my own face as the model. No, my hair color isn't actually like that. I am listening to the music...the feeling generated from the music is what all the bright colors and movement is about.
The collage at the bottom is a mixture of Dir en Grey, Gackt, Miyavi, and random mosh pits/crowd surfers.
Acrylic paint, chalk, charcoal, photos, wire, and paper used on un-gessoed canvas.

*gasps* That is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! The black and white people below was a great touch, and I love her eyes being slightly differant!

I have tried desperatly for years to put on paper what music makes me feel like, but have yet to make a successful drawing out of it.

thank you!!! *tear* I had to work my ass off to get this pic finished in time for an art show I was entering. Did it in only a few weeks or so. And kudos go to my lady friend who let me use her face for this pic! *bows to her*
She actually does have short hair, but it's not those colors, lol.

Don't try so desperately. Just slap something down onto the paper. I didn't even know what I was doing half the time on this 'Music On' piece. I just did what I thought looked neat, and that carried the flow of the music as well.
